Another busy year has passed for pureLiFi. Therefore, we’re rounding up 2019 for you and highlighting some of the big events of the year.

Most recently, we have successfully completed a $18M Series B fundraise, which will enable us to deliver Gigabit LiFi Light Antennas to mobile device and lightning manufacturers alike. Learn more

We have made a lot of friends along the way. This year we partnered up with Getac, a leading manufacturer of ruggedized tablets and PC’s. Getac will offer its customers the security and flexibility of LiFi, in order to increase productivity and underpin their use cases. Learn more

This year we also teamed up with Zumtobel to empower their innovative LED solutions with the latest LiFi innovation and the opportunity to be at the front line of the wireless enterprise network market.

pureLiFi is at the forefront of an exciting opportunity to collaborate with other players in the LiFi ecosystem with the formation of the Light Communication Alliance (LCA). Along with pureLiFi, global industry leaders like Nokia, Liberty Global, Du Telecoms, and LEDVANCE and others will lead the alliance. The LCA will work on developing and refining the key use cases and deployment applications, as well as advocate the use of standards for this emerging industry. Learn more

In May, Professor Harald Haas presented at the official opening of the LiFi deployment at the London based Institute of Physics’ Accelerator Centre. Learn more

At this year’s Mobile World Congress pureLiFi debuted the world’s first optical LiFi components embedded in a standard laptop, enabling high-speed Gbps LiFi connectivity . This advancement ultimately brings the LiFi innovation closer and closer to an consumer market. Learn more
