2014

pureLiFi will continue to design, develop and deliver Li-Fi components to the OEM market in 2014, with more Li-1st units being shipped to selected industry customers in Q1. To advance time to revenue, the company’s product roadmap will be delivering successive products that will provide full networking capabilities while accelerating miniaturisation.

The company remains focused on leveraging its knowledge, partnerships and position in the marketplace to expedite the market adoption of the technology and to grow the Li-Fi industry. Creating an ecosystem of effective partners is critical to foster growth in the emerging Li-Fi market.

pureLiFi’s partner, the University of Edinburgh recently launched the Li-Fi R&D centre which aims to further enhance and encourage research and development in Li-Fi, pooling expertise from fields that are essential for the creation of a Li-Fi industry. pureLiFi is positioned to cooperate and lead the commercialization of these research efforts. An ecosystem of diverse partners is rapidly expanding and pureLiFi products are set to penetrate a number of market verticals during 2014.

Professor Harald Haas, who is behind the Li-Fi R&D centre, the Chief Science Officer and co-founder of pureLiFi, said:

“pureLiFi’s core strengths and assets are its knowledge and experience in the technology, along with the skills to design and build Li-Fi products, all supported by an expanding IP portfolio. 2014 will see even greater leaps forward in Li-Fi research and the Li-Fi industry. We are well positioned to achieve significant growth as the market expands worldwide.”
