Mobile World Live TV – Harald Haas

pureLiFi’s Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer Professor Harald Haas was interviewed live on Mobile World Live TV from this years MWC in Barcelona. The event is the largest gathering for the mobile industry. With over 100,000 attendees, 2,000+ exhibitors and 208 countries represented it is a significant event for the leaders of the mobile industry.

The interview was streamed live via the Mobile World Live TV’s website by thousands of industry professionals as well as attendees at the event viewing the interview via the large TV screens that were spread across the two venues. In the interview, Harald Haas discusses with presenter Justin Springham why LiFi is an influential development for wireless connectivity as well as covering how LiFi works and the impact of the spectrum crunch. Harald Haas showcased a significant milestone for both the company and the technology, an integrated phone case a POC that he uses to stream the interview whilst it is taking place.

pureLiFI also revealed another POC at this year’s event an integrated laptop which verified the significant steps that pureLiFi is taking to evolve the technology. These two POC’s were demonstrated as well as our latest product the LiFi-XC to a large number of attendees all of who wanted to understand more about our technology and how LiFi will sit alongside other wireless technologies.
