Light + Building is the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building services technology presents intelligent and networked solutions, future-oriented technologies and current design trends. At Light + Building the industry presents every two years the latest products for the fields of lighting, electrical engineering as well as home and building automation. The event took place in Frankfurt across the 18th and 23rd of March and saw industry professionals from across the globe all wanting to know what are the latest and up and coming trends in the industry. pureLiFi’s Chief Commercial Officer Harald Burchardt attended this year’s event where our latest product the LiFi-XC was being demonstrated alongside our partners Wieland Electricals and T-Systems on Wieland’s stand in Hall 4. With smart lighting being a key focus for the lighting industry LiFi is a technology that can complement current lighting solutions allowing any private or public lighting to be either retrofitted or installed to provide wireless connectivity whilst the same communications infrastructure can be used to monitor and control lighting and data. Our products are already been deployed in over 20+ countries across the globe in a variety of industries from enterprise & security to RF hostile environments.
This year’s top themes included: The smartification of everyday life & Aesthetics and well being in harmony both areas where LiFi can indeed improve current lighting methods.

More than 2,700 exhibitors present their world firsts at Light + Building in the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. Of over 210,000 visitors, almost half come from outside Germany.
