LuxLive 2017 Roundup

This year’s LuxLive event saw an influx of attendees and exhibitors flocking to pureLiFi’s stand with the task of finding out how LED lightbulbs can be used to connect us to the internet in a secure and fast manor.

The event was another roaring success, with lighting enthusiasts from across the globe exhibiting and making their way around the stalls to find out what the latest trends in the world of lighting are. We had an extremely busy stand full of attendees and exhibitors who came to talk to ourselves and our partners Linmore LED and Ubi-Tech about the power of LiFi.

We had both our Chief Scientific officer Harald Haas and our CCO Harald Burchardt as guest speakers at this year’s event. Harald Haas the ‘father of LiFi’ was speaking about the bandwidth congestion that we are facing and how LiFi can help the world overcome this inevitable issue. Harald Burchardt joined a variety of other panellist for a discussion about data, answering questions about how light can be used to deploy secure data transmission and pureLiFi’s part in the future of the lighting industry.

LuxLive named our Ores integrated light this year’s number one innovation and our LiFi-X dongle was up for the Connected Lighting Innovation of the Year category. The category included all VLC, IoT, Lifi, IP-based systems, data management and smart cities technologies.
