Vision
pureLiFi seeks to resolve the global struggle for diminishing wireless capacity resulting in the Spectrum Crunch. We are developing and delivering technology for secure, reliable, high-speed communication networks that seamlessly integrate data and lighting utility infrastructures and significantly reduce energy consumption.
pureLiFi is a Light communication company that was founded by Prof. Harald Haas and Dr Mostafa Afgani in 2012 as a spin out of the University of Edinburgh to create OEM components, including LiFi drivers and receivers.
Established in 2012, pureLiFi is a spin-out from the University of Edinburgh, where its pioneering research into LiFi communication has been in development since 2008.
Combined with our continued links with the University of Edinburgh and access to Professor Haas’ continued ground breaking research, pureLiFi is well placed to maintain its leadership position in developing and delivering LiFi solutions.
